MediStreams Expands Correspondence Indexing Capabilities, Saving Time and Improving Data Quality for Healthcare Providers

Roswell, Ga., November 12, 2024 - MediStreams, a leading revenue cycle management (RCM) company specializing in healthcare remittance, payments, and reconciliation solutions for providers, today announced it has expanded its Cascade Correspondence Indexing product to enable the automatic ingestion of correspondence documents from payer portals, which will save time and improve data quality for providers.

The Cascade Correspondence Indexing product can now automatically load and index critical documents — such as audit notices and documentation requests — received by healthcare providers from payers. This indexed data allows for timely follow-up and tracking.

Handling time-sensitive and critical payer correspondence can be challenging for RCM teams, who operate in high-pressure environments. By expanding its ingestion methods beyond traditional lockbox services or PDF uploads, MediStreams reduces the need for manual retrieval from payer portals. This improvement enables teams to save time and focus on higher value tasks.
